Prayer & Fasting Guidelines for 21-Day Fast
July 7-27, 2025
Liberty Temple Chicago is excited to announce our 3rd Quarter 21-Day Corporate Fast, taking place from July 7, 2025, to July 27, 2025. This sacred time of fasting and prayer is a beautiful opportunity to seek spiritual renewal, guidance, and blessings as we step into the new year together.
During these 21 days, we are committing to:
- Fasting for 21 days
- Praying on the prayer lines for 30 minutes daily
We invite you to join us in dedicating this time to spiritual growth and aligning with God’s will for our lives and our church.
Fasting Protocol
Duration
July 7-27, 2025
- Scripture: “Sanctify yourselves, for tomorrow the Lord will do wonders among you.”- Joshua 3:5 (NSRV)
- Meal: We eat fruits and vegetables during the fast. Please abstain from desserts and soda pop during the fast.
- Special Considerations: Individuals with medical conditions or dietary should consult with a healthcare professional before participating and adjust the fast accordingly. Those who are small in weight should also eat properly to avoid physical problems. (If you must eat meat, do so. Allow the Holy Spirit to lead your fast.)
- Together we’ll reset our minds and bodies, draw closer to God, and embrace spiritual renewal. For 21 days, we’ll eliminate meat, sweets, and negative thoughts while nourishing ourselves with plant-based meals, fresh juices, and intentional prayer and Scripture.
